Clergy, activists and churchgoers gathered in a show of support at Wedgewood Church Monday after an anti-gay slur was painted on the church's rainbow-colored front door last week. It was the seventh act of vandalism in seven years at the church, which reports half its congregation is LGBT.

The North Carolina GOP says for the second time in less than a month, one of its local offices has been vandalized. This time, someone spray painted "F--k Trump yes sir" on the outside of the Alamance County Republican party headquarters.

"This marks the second crime of this nature in my district within a month," Republican Representative Mark Walker said in a statement, "First the firebombing at the Orange County GOP and then similar graffiti profanity again here at the Alamance GOP offices."

Kennedy Charter School on Charlotte’s south side has had some vandalism problems lately, mainly smashed in bus windows.  But on Sunday, at least three Canada geese were also injured.  Police have charged two male juveniles with animal cruelty in the attacks and additional charges are expected thanks in part to the maintenance director who acted as the school’s sleuth.
