Years of delays due to unexpected environmental problems and the COVID-19 pandemic have pushed back reopening of the historic Carolina Theatre in uptown Charlotte. But Michael Marsicano of the Foundation for the Carolinas said it's on track for the fall of 2022. In a talk to the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, he also addressed giving during the pandemic and the ASC's recent apology over past inequities in grantmaking.
