Preconceived notions about the roles of men and women have been changing rapidly except when it comes to philanthropy. People still believe that women don’t participate actively in philanthropy because those decisions are made by men. That is no longer true. In fact, around 60 percent of all charitable giving is done by women. We meet three women working to change perceptions and to empower women to take an even greater role.
