African-Americans haven’t had it easy in this country but black males may have the most difficult time of all. They have been targeted, occasionally demonized, sometimes marginalized and often misunderstood. It is a challenging problem to solve but one that community leaders and UNC Charlotte’s Center for the Study of the New South have taken on. It’s also one we’ll hear more about in this encore edition of Charlotte Talks.
