Whether or not same-sex couples are able to marry keeps changing. More states are over-turning bans and legalizing same-sex unions and some courts seem to be hastening a trend toward allowing it while others are slowing it down. A day before marriage licenses were to be provided to gays in Virginia, the Supreme Court stepped in to delay things. Today, we look at the legal challenges to and politics of same-sax marriage.
