Part One: 'The PPL' of Charlotte
When the Democratic National Convention arrives in Charlotte, media organizations from around world will flock here by the thousands. Most of them will be affiliated with networks, but hundreds of people who identify as independent journalists will be here as well. An organization has been created in Charlotte to help host and organize this group, called The PPL, (The People). We'll meet the founders of the group and talk about what they hope to offer the independent and unaffiliated producers, videographers, bloggers and more during the DNC.

Part Two: Former Pan Am Flight Attendants
Pan Am, the TV series, aired its series finale last month on ABC. But not before it put the spotlight on the work of pilots and stewardesses at the beginning of the commercial jet age. The show spawned a public recollection of air travel in those days, and many former Pan Am stewardesses have come out to talk about what really happened, and what is just good TV. A few of those former stewardesses live in Charlotte, and will join us to talk about Pan Am in its hey day and we'll talk to a flight attendant from the current flight era to talk about how the job, the rules and the entire flight industry have changed.
