Legislation Could Affect Public Access

(4/26/06) New legislation being considered by North Carolina's Senate Finance Committee would change the way cable access is provided. Supporters say it would lower prices by increasing competition. Opponents fear it would threaten public access stations all across the state. WFAE's Scott Graf spoke with John Rocco, who oversees Charlotte's Cable Access Channel 21, about the bill.
