The North Carolina economy has grown for six consecutive years and, after a sluggish start to 2015, it’s growing again. Construction is booming, gas prices remain low, the stock market is high but other indicators are mixed. State unemployment is up a bit even as the Fed is bullish enough to contemplate raising interest rates. But there may be some bumps in the road ahead and we’ll talk with two economists about what they see in our economic future.
