Fifteen counties finally have early voting plans after the North Carolina Board of Elections settled local disagreements over them on Sunday. Gaston and Durham counties' plans include Sunday voting.
Wake County’s plan includes an early voting site on NC State University's campus.
County elections boards must approve early-voting schedules unanimously, or the state board steps in. The State Board of Elections and Ethics Enforcement set aside several hours Sunday to consider and vote on competing plans by Democrats and Republicans in the fifteen counties.
