Schools aren’t in session yet but education hasn’t slowed down for the summer. The debate over student assignment is set to heat up as CMS prepares to begin a series of public meetings next week. The school board has set a goal of selecting a new superintendent by the end of the year. School suspensions have been under scrutiny while teacher pay is improving.
