What can white people do to help end racial injustice? Dr. Shannon Sullivan begins her book, Good White People, with that question, examining the complex relationships between class, race and the formation of white identity. She warns that well-meaning white liberals are often too concerned with proving themselves anti-racist rather than confronting systematic racism and their own white privilege. We explore the thoughts of this UNC Charlotte professor.
