Whether we work in retail or not, we’ve all heard the old adage: The customer is always right. Not so, says Peter Fader. In fact, he takes it a step further by asserting that only a business’s good customers deserve the best treatment. This flies in the face of everything and, given that we’re all about to go on a holiday shopping binge, this might really go against your grain.
Peter Fader - professor of marketing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; author, Customer Centricity: Focus on the Right Customers for Strategic Advantage
Event: Peter Fader speaks Monday night, November 17, at a Wharton Club of Charlotte event. Open to the public. Details here.
