The college admissions process has become ever-more tricky and as high schoolers and parents try to navigate this important process, we’ve enlisted some help. On the next Charlotte Talks, two college admissions experts alert us to the pitfalls and give us a look at best practices for applying to college.
It’s fall!
For high school students, that means back-to-school, back to after-school activities and sports, back to studying and homework… but fall also means college admissions season.
The process of finding the “right” college, applying to that college, and getting accepted into it is one that can make any student- and their parents- break out into a cold sweat.
It can be a stressful, confusing process. Mike Collins will sit down with two college admissions experts to talk about some of the most important things to remember about the college admissions process during college admissions season and what you—or your child—should be doing in that process whether they’re a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.
Guests:
Lee Bierer, college admissions coach and president of College Admissions Strategies in Charlotte
Willard Dix, college admissions expert and contributor to Forbes.
