As the summer travel season heats up, we get an update on the $2.5 billion expansion plan at Charlotte Douglas International airport, find out what happened with all those flight cancellations and more.

It's been a busy time at the airport. Charlotte Douglas International is in the midst of a $2.5 billion expansion and renovation project. An expansion of Concourse A is nearly complete and work is underway on new gates and other improvements with an expected completion date in 2025.
