Guest host David Boraks takes a look at the flurry of redevelopment around South Tryon and Stonewall streets uptown. What's open, what's under construction and what's ahead for this fast changing part of town.
The area around South Tryon and Stonewall streets has seen a wealth of growth and construction. There's a high-rise apartment tower with a Whole Foods, shops, restaurants, and hotels.
That's not all. There's more proposed construction, like a 39-story Duke Energy tower and the big redevelopment of the old Charlotte Observer site. We are joined by experts to get a big picture look at how that part of uptown is changing.
