Prolific documentarian Steve Crump has focused his most recent work on the 1957 integration of Harding High School. At the center of the action was young Dorothy Counts, the first African-American student to be admitted to Harding High through integration. We'll talk about the documentary, "9/4/57," set to air on WTVI on September 4th, and we'll hear from Dorothy Counts and a white, former student present on Counts' first day at Harding High School.
