By the end of today, the Charlotte and Hickory areas will have received visits from four presidential candidates in less than 30 hours.
The stump-a-thon began Sunday with a Ted Cruz rally at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Today it continues. First up is Donald Trump. The Republican frontrunner will address a crowd at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory at 10 a.m.
The Democrats are also barnstorming through our area. Bernie Sanders is scheduled to hold a rally at PNC Music Pavilion at 4:30 p.m.; Hillary Clinton will hold a rally at the Grady Cole Center at 7:30 9:15 p.m.
