The City of Charlotte has agreed to pay $9.5 million to a man who wrongly served nearly 25 years in prison for 1989 rape and assault.  It's the city's largest legal settlement ever.

If you’ve had problems with Sirius XM radio’s customer service, this bit of news might make you happy. The company has agreed to pay nearly $4 million to settle complaints brought by most of the country’s attorneys general. North Carolina will get a slice of that money.  Greg Collard reports.

Charlotte's airport will remain a major hub for U.S. Airways for at least three years after the company merges with American Airlines. That's part of a settlement the airlines reached with the Justice Department and state attorneys general today, which had sued to block the merger.
