Attention NASCAR Fans: XFINITY To Replace Nationwide Series

NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France says he likes Comcast because it's an innovative company.

The second-biggest series in NASCAR – the Nationwide Series  – will now be called the NASCAR XFINITY series. NASCAR announced Wednesday at the NASCAR Hall of Fame that Comcast Cable's XFINITY internet service will be the title sponsor for the series for the next 10 years.

Jeremy Mayfield Makes Surprise Call To NASCAR CEO

Jeremy Mayfield's first win was the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pocono Race in 1998.

Suspended NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield has been out of racing since 2009, when he tested positive for methamphetamine. Mayfield wants to return to the track, and this week called in to a radio show to ask NASCAR CEO Brian France to give him a chance.
