As Charlotte continues its rapid growth, adjacent counties are experiencing similar growth. But York County in South Carolina is in a slightly different position. As part of another state, it has to compete with neighboring counties while operating under a different set of rules. Buddy Motz, Chair of the York County Council, spoke with WFAE's Craig Fahle about some of the unique challenges facing York County.
