WFAE Talks Airport Parking, Post-Test Reading, Cyberbullying, NASCAR

The WFAE Talks crew of Greg Collard, Lisa Miller and Ben Bradford discuss the growing frustration of parking at Charlotte's airport. In education, Ben and Lisa envy the option that some students now have after they complete their End-of-Grade tests. Plus, the arrest and news coverage of students accused of cyberbullying on school time. And in sports, the evolution of NASCAR pit crews.

Greg Collard served as news director from 2008 to 2023. He served as WFAE's executive editor in 2023. He came to WFAE from West Virginia Public Broadcasting. In his eight years there, Greg had roles as a reporter, editor and producer. He was the executive producer of a television news magazine and news director for radio and television when he decided to head south for Charlotte.
Lisa Worf traded the Midwest for Charlotte in 2006 to take a job at WFAE. She worked with public TV in Detroit and taught English in Austria before making her way to radio. Lisa graduated from University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in English.
