This fall, for the third time, UNC Charlotte's Urban Institute took a pulse of the Charlotte community, in a poll commissioned by WFAE. More than 850 respondents were asked about the biggest issues affecting the Charlotte area, and the nation as a whole. In both cases, economic matters ranked very high.
