The board chairman of the United Way of Central Carolinas is stepping down following controversy over the salary given to former CEO Gloria Pace King. Chairman Graham Denton says he understands that some board members have lost confidence in him. Julie Rose spoke to Interim United Way CEO Mac Everett about the salary controversy and how it will affect the agency's annual campaign that begins Friday.
