UNC Charlotte has suspended two more students as part of its investigation into hazing by the university's baseball team.
The investigation began in mid November, when UNC Charlotte officials received allegations of hazing within the baseball team. The university is refusing to release details about what happened and even how many total students have been disciplined. A spokesman will only say that five have now been suspended from school, five have been dismissed from the team, and they're not all the same people.
In a written statement, Chancellor Phil Dubois says the investigation is ongoing. But he says he's now authorized UNC Charlotte's athletics director to reinstate baseball activities, which were halted when the investigation began.
