An unsettling trend is taking shape in North Carolina healthcare. EMS officials around the state say there is a shortage of new paramedics to replace those leaving the profession. Alan Thompson, Assistant EMS Director in Cabarrus County, says the shortage is impacting his office. WFAE's Scott Graf asked him if it's affecting service to the public.
