Shareholders Approve Duke/Progress Merger

Shareholders of Charlotte-based Duke Energy and Raleigh-based Progress Energy on Tuesday approved the proposed $13.7 billion merger of the two companies. The deal still needs approval from several state and federal regulatory agencies.
