Wednesday in Raleigh, a panel known as the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission will rule on a water transfer request from the towns of Concord and Kannapolis. The process has been ongoing for the past 5 years, but has received a lot of attention in the past 6 months because of the very spirited debate it's created. WFAE's Scott Graf has this report.
