Rebroadcast: Liberating Dixie

www.edwilliamsbooks.com

In his long career as a journalist,Ed Williamshad a front row seat to many of the big issues and events that happened in the South, beginning in the late 1960s. For 25 years, Mr. Williams was the Editorial Page Editor for the Charlotte Observer, a role that not only allowed him to write about many of those issues, but to offer opinion and spark debate. In his retirement, Ed Williams has stayed busy, in part by putting together a collection of 50 years of his columns, which covered issues of race, politics, business, sports and the growth of Charlotte. We talk to him about this book on this Charlotte Talks.
