The investment returns Bernie Madoff’s clients were receiving were too good to be true and that’s because they actually were. He was running a Ponzi scheme. And he is not alone. Even though we witnessed his incarceration and his family destroyed, others are doing the same or similar things and putting you at risk right here in Charlotte.
