Planned Parenthood is a worldwide organization that’s nearly 100 years old, working to provide health care to women, and it’s this nation’s largest provider of sex education. The organization has many areas of focus, but one thing that’s getting Planned Parenthood attention (positive and negative) is its mission to provide abortions, and for its efforts to protect reproductive rights for women. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards is in North Carolina this week and while she’s here, she’ll join us for a discussion about Planned Parenthood’s work and talk about why North Carolina is a top priority for the organization.
