Pendergraph Accepts D.C. Job

Mecklenburg County Sheriff Jim Pendergraph has accepted a senior management position at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He'll be leaving his post as Sheriff at the end of November. Pendergraph was first elected Sheriff in 1994. Before that he worked with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police for 23 years. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke with Jim Pendergraph about the new job and the one he's leaving behind.
