NASCAR's Long Haul

Mar 4, 2008

Over the last three weekends, NASCAR teams have raced in Florida, California and Nevada. While the drivers and crews fly to races, cars and parts are hauled in semis. By some counts, team haulers have racked up about 6,000 miles in a little over two weeks. For some perspective, WFAE's Scott Graf caught up with Peter Jellen, the lead driver for Joe Gibbs Racing's Number 18 team over the last 12 years. Jellen was in his truck just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Scott began by asking if he keeps track of all those miles.
