More Flights Canceled At Charlotte Airport As Airline's Computer Problems Continue

PSA Airlines is still working to resolve a computer problem that’s caused more than 300 flight cancellations since Thursday. The regional carrier of American Airlines on Sunday canceled another 70 flights in and out of Charlotte-Douglas Airport.

“We got a notification around 7:15 that it was canceled, and it was delayed, passeneger Nina Cano-Richards told Spectrum News Charlotte. "Next thing you know, everyone's rushing down to get their flights rebooked, rescheduled, and all of the cars were rented out, there weren't any cars available to get anywhere people wanted to get to."

Many customers were frustrated with the delays affecting travel.

"It's no way to run a business. Any kind of business. I mean, you just can't do that," passenger Stephanie Stern told WBTV.

American Airlines blames the delays on problems with a computer program that deals with flight operations and crew bookings. American says it hopes to have the problems resolved by noon Monday.
