Minority Health Symposium

This Thursday, the Minority Health Symposium will take place at the Charlotte Convention Center. The group will focus its attention this year on HIV and AIDS and disparities in at-risk populations. In advance of the Symposium on today's Charlotte Talks, we'll meet two Infectious Disease specialists and a young Charlotte mother who is HIV positive to talk about new drugs to help HIV patients, clinical trials, the possibility of an HIV vaccine, about what populations are most at risk for HIV infection and about awareness. Contact the show: 704-926-9323, 800-603-9323 or charlottetalks@wfae.org.
