A Charlotte public education advocacy group has a smaller group of leaders less than two years after it was formed. The group Mecklenburg Citizens for Public Education had a governing board of 22 high profile business and civic leaders, and was chaired by UNC Charlotte Chancellor Emeritus Jim Woodward. WFAE's Simone Orendain spoke with the new, smaller board's Chair and former BellSouth CEO Krista Tillman about the change.
