Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory recently hosted another meeting of his immigration study commission. The committee is hunting for local information and data so they can make informed recommendations on how to deal with issues surrounding both legal and illegal immigration. The committee is expected to issue a final report in December. WFAE's Craig Fahle spoke with Mayor McCrory. He asked him why it was important to localize the immigration debate.
