Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in northwest Charlotte Sunday night.
CMPD said officers responded to a call about a person who had been shot on Jennings Street around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, police found Adam Truesdale, 54, with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to CMPD's preliminary investigation, Truesdale and a second person were standing in the driveway of a residence when the shooting happened. No arrests have been made.
This is the 25th homicide in Charlotte in 2018.
