Six Charlotte middle and high school students traveld to South Africa this month to hand out shoes to needy children and adults. They went with Samaritan's Feet, a Charlotte-based non-profit that works to reduce poverty throughout the world. Tania Morales was part of the group who returned from South Africa last week. She's an eighth-grader at Northwest school of the Arts. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke to her about the trip.
