There were mixed results: Charlottean Ben Fraker placed sixth in the whitewater canoe event. But kayaker Scott Parsons did not make it to the final round. Watching all of this in Charlotte was Brett Heyl. He's regarded as the second best kayaker in the country, and also the second best in the world. Still he did not make it to the Olympics this year because a change in rules now only allows one boat per event and Parsons outperformed him at the trials. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke to Heyl about this past week watching from the sidelines.
