http://66.225.205.104/CT20111012.mp3

Part One: A Local Immigration Story We meet a family from South Africa who have been living and working in Charlotte for a decade, but they may soon have to leave. It seems going through immigration channels isn't easy and we'll hear what they're up against.

Guests

Bruce and Dianne Stewart - Local business owners in Charlotte who are here on Visas from South Africa. They may have to leave the US in December

George Miller - Immigration Attorney with the firm Dozier Miller Pollard & Murphy, LLP. He is also on the faculty of the Charlotte School of Law.

Part Two: The Addams Family There was once a very strange family that lived among us, first in single panel cartoons, then on television and now in a Broadway musical. They're The Addams Family and they just arrived for a week-long run. We'll meet Morticia and Gomez, and talk about why such a weird, creepy family is such a fan favorite.

Guests

Douglas Sills - Tony Award Nominee (for best actor in The Scarlet Pimpernel) and "Gomez" in The Addams Family

Sara Gettelfinger - "Morticia" in The Addams Family, has had multiple roles on Broadway

Jerry Zaks - Tony Award-winning director who took over and made major changes to the Broadway production of The Addams Family.
