The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library's fifteenth annual summer film series is underway. This year the theme is Westerns. Sam Shapiro is the manager of the library's adult fiction, movies and music collections. He put the series together. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke to him about the intrigue of the Western.
