Last week, former State House member Michael Decker was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in a public corruption scandal. Monday, former State Lottery Commissioner Kevin Geddings was also sentenced to four years. U.S. District Court Judge James Dever is also preparing sentencing for Black, and has hinted that a harsh penalty may await him. Taylor says the long sentences for both Geddings and Decker are sending a message.
