Historic Landmarks Commission Discusses the Coffee Cup's Future
This evening in Charlotte, the local historic landmarks commission will meet to discuss an application from Beazer Homes to demolish the Coffee Cup Restaurant in uptown Charlotte. The building dates back to the mid-1940s and is seen as a symbol of American racial harmony. WFAE's Scott Graf spoke with Len Norman, chairman of the landmarks commission.
