From Farm to Fork
Most of us aren't very connected with the source of the food we eat. That piece of chicken in the grocery store barely resembles the animal from which it came. The Charlotte Observer's Kathleen Purvis noticed this and did a series tracing one animal's journey. She joins us to trace a similar path to see how such a journey can be done in a healthy, humane fashion.
