A new study by the Committee for Economic Development (CED) has found that "American children, the United States' economy and our society can greatly benefit from improved and expanded early childhood education programs." In light of that, Charlotte will be hosting a forum this week to make the business case for the importance of early childhood education. In advance of the forum, we'll talk to the president of the CED to get a more indepth analysis about the study, along with regional education and business officials to talk about the importance of investing in the promise of pre-school for all children.
