Dog Bites 7 Kids At South Charlotte Elementary School

Police in Charlotte say a stray dog ran into Lansdowne Elementary School yesterday afternoon and bit seven students.

CMPD says the dog, described as a white and silver pit bull named Bro, first appeared on the playground. As teachers were escorting students inside, the dog managed to also get into the school, where some of the students began running and making noise, prompting the dog to begin jumping and biting the students.

A teacher was able to confine the dog and contact the owner with information from the dog’s collar.

Medic was not called to the scene.
