Today we listen back to a conversation with a special NPR personality - Terry Gross. Each day, Terry Gross hosts one of the best hours on American Radio. Her program, Fresh Air, is heard on NPR stations throughout the country and is popular - I think - because it touches on all of the topics that touch our lives. Her guests run the gamut from big name actors and musicians, to politicians of all political stripes. And what sets Terry Gross apart from other interviewers is that she has researched her guests. She seems to know more about them than they sometimes know about themselves - and that can lead to some illuminating surprises. (Originally Aired 11/10/2006.)
