Cokie Roberts And Our 'Founding Mothers'

HarperCollins

Friday, October 17, 2014

Most of us have heard about the Founding Fathers since we were little children. They are woven into the fabric of American society and, despite the fact that many cannot name their congressman, people can identify the Founding Fathers. Well, what about the Founding Mothers? NPR's Cokie Roberts wants us to remember them and their amazing accomplishments - from Abigail Adams to the lesser known women in the nation's early days.
