On the next Charlotte Talks...

Wrestler Ric Flair is one of Charlotte’s most famous characters. Although he lives in Atlanta now, longtime Charlotteans still claim him as one their own.

His heyday as a wrestler in the 1980’s and 90’s and the behind the scenes glamour life he led is part of a 30 for 30 documentary on ESPN created by another Charlottean, Rory Karpf.

Karpf’s interviews with Flair, and other  people who were part of Flair’s journey tell stories of a high rolling lifestyle, heavy drinking, women and the hardships that this life resulted in for Ric and his family.
