Charlotte Talks Local News Roundup: New Panthers Owner; County Budget Proposed; Scooters Are Back

On the local news roundup, NFL owners have unanimously approved the sale of the Carolina Panthers-- a record-breaking team purchase, at $2.2 billion. Mecklenburg County Manager Dena Diorio has released the proposed county budget, which includes the first property tax increase in five years if it’s approved. It’s official- the NFL owners have unanimously approved the sale of the Carolina Panthers to David Tepper. It was a record-breaking team purchase, at $2.2 billion. We’ll talk about Tepper and some of his statements about the team.
